Excellency, your very dear letter of ll June, with which you had the kindness to thank me and my wife for the welcome that was offered to you and your companion at the historical lO.d.M. in my house, filled me and her wife with deepest joy. As I have already had the honour to tell you personally, the date of the Lo.d.M. will remain forever imprinted in the memory of my family and all Italians in Prague as the date one day unspeakable joy and enthusiasm. Thanks to the ever-renewed Italian and German victories we will still experience similar days, but no one will come the same as that which we had already decided. On behalf of all Italians in Bohemia and Moravia, on behalf of my family and in my own, I ask you, Excellency and your highly esteemed wife, to receive our profound thanks and expression of our greatest enthusiasm.
