He is not in possession of a diplomatic passport. His good relations with Czechs date back to the time of World War II, where he was assigned as an officer to the Czech legions in Italy. His marriage to a well-known Czech was a further bond with the Czechs. According to his whole attitude, he is more Czech than Italian. He has his personal relations very strongly in Czech circles, he is also said to have been strongly supported by the former Czech government because of his Czech friendly attitude. in the time when the Italian delegation was still in Prague and the president of the Italian National Institute "Luce", Marchese Paulucci de Calboli, former head of the cabinet Mussolini, was in Prague to negotiate the exchange of film production between the two countries, R. The task was to translate Czech films intended for the Venice Bienale into Italian and to deepen relations with Czech circles and to promote cultural life on the one hand.
