0V : The Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia Prague, 5 April 1940. The representative of the Foreign Office of the Staa slehcetär Mr. 3743/Prot.2.Romania ben Reuismo.chior in hmen u ftancen. It is requested to indicate this trade mark and the Eing. Object in world letters. 6. APB. 1940 Tgb. Nr. 2317 fn Original Mr. State Secretary SS-Group Leader K. H. The Romanian Consul General Dr. Beu is a Romanian from Transylvania. He participated in World War II as an officer. He speaks fluently German and gives himself as a German 5.a.0. friendly. During his previous work in Vienna t/e.*, he is said to have acted carelessly, so that the temporary office hesitated to give him the exequatur. Since I had a very favourable impression of Dr. Beu, the temporary post has provisionally recognized him and approved him. With the grant of the exequatur it is likely to be possible to calculate in the next few weeks. The Consulate General has no military commissions, but the protectorate of Romanian super-commissions, which are subordinated to the Romanian military attaché in Berlin, is active. These com-missaries are taking over state operations, which have been ordered by the Romanian Government at the ČKD plants in Prague, Skoda plants in Pilsen and Zbrojovka plants in Brno. I have informed the SD leader in Prague of the above and have sent a list of the members of these takeover committees. A.Junt E9π
