14 14 - On the German side, nothing must be left unturned to gain influence on them, since the land in their hands is not to be spared for German-speaking work. First of all, it must be ensured that the German owners occupy their posts of civil servants, the posts of their directors of goods, inspectors, foresters, etc. with Germans at least partially. It will not be possible to Germanize the agricultural labour force in the great possessions, but it will be important to secure the German leadership in this area, not to be underestimated, if the leading positions and positions in German hands and the working class thus comes under German influence and command. In the first instance, the appointment of German mayors to the municipal administrations will obviously have to be foreseen in these purely Czech areas, but more than in other Czech regions, it will be necessary to ensure that only Czechs come to the administrative authorities in the municipalities, who are scrutinised for their loyal attitude. This applies above all to the mayoral posts in Gurein, Adamstal, Blansko, Raitz, Boskowitz, Kunstadt, Lettowitz and Gewitsch. German schools are available in Boskoitz (16 schools) and in Gewitséh (31 schools). III.
