-3- to the Reichsprotektor. This is a longer memorandum in which cooperation on the basis of National Socialist principles is suitable to put the coexistence of people to new foundations. Of the wishes contained therein, a point serves as a characteristic of the whole movement and its present situation to be mentioned. It is stated here that the representatives sent by Vála to the "National Community" and who have meanwhile fallen away from it may be removed from the "national community" with the help of the Reich Protector /!/, so that the "unity" is preserved. To sum up, the Válas movement has, at times, provided good services in the past in order to maintain a certain opposition to the "national community" in the Czech people. Even if it has become too meaningless for this purpose today, there is still the possibility that future development will make it more suitable for the future. However, it is not considered as a serious political factor for continuous cooperation with German authorities. Prague, 12 August 1939.
