In February 1 940, the Hungarian defence organs of the protectorate members Milos B o n d y arrested him in Budapest, who from there carried out extensive intelligence activities in favour of Czech emigration in Paris and the Allied intelligence service against the Reich, especially in the Protectorate. Since then, the Prague State Police Department has carried out extensive investigations against the employees and carriers of the B o n d y. Among the approximately 80 persons previously arrested since 25.5. In 1940, the Czech editor Josef J o st from Prague, who had been working in intelligence against the Reich since the invasion, appeared in various treason cases and could only be arrested under great difficulties, because he had completely changed his appearance and used false passports. In July 1994 J o s t was ready to make a comprehensive confession about his illegal activity. In the course of this confession, he made detailed information on his references to Dr. K l a p k a, the primator of Prague on 3 July 1940. J o st K l A p ka then asked for financial support in his illegal activities. On his visits to Kl a p k a, he also had news, especially in the field of internal policy, e.g. about upcoming arrests.
