The branch of the City Administration of Prag X /Karolinen- thal / comprises a district with about 21,000 inhabitants, among which are about 79o Germans. It is mainly an industrial district with a working population, which means that the welfare department and the survey service are heavily used. As at 28.2.1942, the branch had the following staff: 1 senior official, 1 senior civil servant, 3 middle civil servant and 1 junior civil servant; 4 manual worker and 30 manual worker. As a result of the reduced level of activity, the following staff are freed: 5 senior officials: 4 middle official, 1 ordinary official, 10 staff; 30 staff are employed by the price and commission section, 7 of which come from the branch's regular staff.
