The branch of the city administration for Prague VII occupies a special position in that it is limited on the one hand in the scope of its tasks, because according to its position a part of the tasks otherwise concerned by branches is performed by central banks, on the other hand the largest number of German residents is located in this district.The district has about 700o0 inhabitants, of which 6500 Germans are understood. The large spread of the German population in the district VII requires to a greater extent the occupation of important positions with Germans. On the staff level of 28 February 1942 there were 1 civil servant of the higher service, ll civil servants and employees of the upper service, 7 civil servants of the middle service, 20 civil servants, 10 workers of the simple service. 49 Service personnel. The branch of the Prague City Council VII loses its scope of functions: 1. the duties of the commercial police, 2. the tasks of the carers, 3. the accounting operations. As a result of the reduced area of work, the following staff become vacant : 2 officials of the superior service, 4 officials and employees of the ordinary service. 6 staff.
