/ 4-Cry. 8 June 1943. VI. 1943 8.1.) To the President of the Slovak Republic, Monsignor Dr.Tiso, Pressburg. Excellency! Dear President! Please accept my sincere thanks for the presentation of the Grand Cross of the (rden from the Slovak Cross, which filled me with great joy. I like to remember the times when I fought alongside the great Slovak leader, Monsignor Andreas Hlinka, and the other representatives of the Slovak People's Party for the freedom of our peoples in the former Czechoslovak Republic. For the final pacification of Europe today the brave Slovak soldiers fight shoulder to shoulder with the German Wehrmacht against Bolshevism. By thanking Your Excellency once again for the high distinction, I extend my best wishes for your personal well-being and the happy future of the Slovak people. A deqed d 2.)
