127 -3- The death message left a special impression on the Czech teachers in Pilsen. Individual teachers fear the closure of secondary schools, others again believe that teachers and pupils should be recruited to work, and many believe that the upcoming school reform will now even lead to a clean-up of Czech visions. Various teachers also fear, apparently in the consciousness of their anti-German attitude, that the arrest of teachers is about to occur, in the opinion that similar measures have already been taken, whether it would be necessary for all Czech middle schools to be closed. In Ung.-Hradisch (OLß Zlin) it was observed that the death of the Obergruppenführer was recognized by the Czech teacherry with visible relief. Czech youth is generally opposed to the demise of the upper group leader without special interest and in large partisanness. In the OLB Iglau it was even observed that Czech young people showed a provocative behaviour towards Germans after the news was made known.Only fears about about the impending school closures gave rise to fearful conjectures and future considerations. In the economy, the fear of the now expected consequences led to various questions in the case of higher-ranking companies. For example, the Sparkassenverband was asked by telephone whether it was true that it was not possible to correspond to Czech law. The recent stiffening of the Czech workforce has also made room for a certain degree of flexibility. The Bohemian Sparkassa held a company appeal on the subject of "all of you are mentally guilty", in which the speaker gave a keen view and accused the civil servants of a certain co-inflict over the interception of hostile channels. 4
