Report on the political development in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia from 10.8. to 19.09.1941. Seheim The political development in the Protectorate has been marked in recent weeks by a considerable stiffening of the Czech resistance spirit, which is mainly caused by: 1.) by a strengthening of the general conviction that Germany must lose the war, 2.) by an increasing resentment of the broad masses of the population about the further deterioration of the supply situation. The unvalued tenacity of the Bolshevik resistance against the advance of the German power and the other foreign policy legions allowed the view that the climax of German successes exceeded and a German final defeat was inevitable, almost tox general good of the Czechs become. The circles of techechism showed externally reserved, in order to prevent all rough approach and not open fiderstand to demand sharp German. Under the surface the rise of passive resistance against all Germans are harassed, boycott-German-friendly Czechs terrorized. For the European significance of the German struggle against Bolshevism, almost every understanding is lacking, so that even occasionally transparent Czechs say that Czechism had lost its last chance and that it must be clear that the corresponding conclusions of German political leadership could not be omitted.
