SRCENSET I visited Folta in Brno on the l3.4.43 circle leader and explained to him personally the meaning of the short wave action and the need for exact implementation. Pg. Folta explained that he had to fight against an indignation of his political leaders. According to him, Gauleiter Dr.Jury would hardly have agreed to the action if he had been informed beforehand by his subordinate party services about the possible atmospheric effects. He was probably one-sidedly informed by a speaker at the party liaison office in Prague and had not had the opportunity, because of his overburdening, to examine the matter more closely before a decision was taken. I disgusted him that I could not assume that Gauleiter Dr.Ju- ry had agreed to the action without full consideration; moreover, the matter had not been brought up by a speaker of the TcaC aSea himself to Gauleider Dr. Jury. Folta noted that then Secretary of State Frank had only unilaterally put the matter down. I have rejected this, and I have noticed that State Secretary Prank was convinced of the need to involve the German population in the action and is continuing to do so. I can only ask, in accordance with the instructions of Dr. Jury, that circuit leader Folta do everything in his power to ensure the smooth running of the party's action.
