144 The Upper Land Councillor of Prague, 17 July 1942. Düro of the State Secretariat in Prague at the Reichepcotek.oc in Bohemia and Maiyten. Eing.: 20.JULI 1942 Dear Secretary of State! Before I present my political situation report to the authority of the Reichsprotektor, I would like to allow myself, given the fundamental importance of the questions I have raised, to personally present you with a copy for inclined inspection. After four weeks of inspection, I have already come to the conclusion that the Jetzi- state cannot be satisfactory for the administration of the Reich or for the autonone administration and can be lastingly fruitful, the political power must be in the executive. I would like to ask the President-in-Office of the Council whether he is aware of the fact that the Commission is not in a position to take a decision on this matter, and that he is in a situation where the Council has not yet taken a decision. Personally, I have managed not only for three years in the city of Prague, but, I believe, also in your sense, the current activity, especially in the third year of the war, cannot satisfy me.
