43. h0V Foresight to determine in the Pitsburg Treaty the conditions for the coexistence of the Slovak net of the Czech nation.We solemnly testify before the whole publicity of the homeland and abroad that we Slovaks want to live in Czechoslovakia with all the rights of an independent people and do not stop fighting for our natural and contractual rights.We reject the fiction of the non-existent Czechoslovak people. We do not allow ourselves to be taken away from our national rights. We are devoted sons of the Kyreah and the Holy Father. Therefore, we demand once again that all of our publics be built on Christian principles. We strongly reject Bolshevism in ourselves and abroad and vow to work with all our might against it. We welcome the interest of foreign countries in the order of the internal problems of Czechoslovakia.We do not give up hope that we will obtain the legal guarantee of an autonomous life under our own law in Czechoslovakia. We call on the government of the Czechoslovak state to pursue a fair policy in order to solve internal political problems and initiate a friendly relationship with all neighbouring countries. The time has come to resolve the Slovak question, it is in the interests of Czechoslovakia.We call for the reconciliation of the Slovak people with the Czech people on the basis of our natural right.We are ready to work on this reconciliation work,which is for all the Slovaks, the Czechs, our national ethnic groups and the common state. The autonomy-development of the Hlinka party sees the creation of an autonomous Slovak territory with Slovak official languages, its own nationality, legislative body (the Landtag) and a Belgian-style national division of the army, whereby in Slovakia only the Slovak military would offer fair opportunities for life and development." According to the draft, common Czechoslovak affairs remain: the National Defence (with the above exception),the Money-Coin, Insurance and Transport,the Customs System,the Mass and Weight System, the Administration of the former State Debts,the State Monopolies and State Enterprises.
