Group II/2 Prague, 13. 7.42 Food and Agriculture. No.: II/2 - 3731 - 8/42. /0L Note to Mr. Secretary of State 2 in the House. Subject: Report of the Upper Land Council Kolin for May 1942. Order on poultry farming. The orders on poultry farming issued on the subject of the report were discussed in detail at a meeting of agricultural experts, the compulsory administrator and the head of state goods on 4.5.1942. Furthermore, in a circular to all the Upper Land Councils of 30 May 1942 - 1I/2 - 3731 - 8 - I explained in particular the question of the consumption of slaughter poultry on the producer's own farm and ordered that the associations of the Association of German Agriculture and Forestry be informed thereof. On my initiative, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has instructed the Bohemian-Moravian Association to take into account the concerns of the producer to a large extent. In addition, at the meeting of the Government Commissioners and the Upper Land Councils held in May 1942 under your chairmanship, I personally had the opportunity to give some information on agricultural and food problems to the then Upper Land council of Kolin before the start of the day's work on his question. In spite of this very extensive information, Dr Eckold damn was given the floor again in the course of the meeting on the issue of poultry farming. On this occasion, I myself, before the whole assembly, described the development of the situation and the resulting measures. After all, I have no understanding of the fact that the report drawn up on 23 May 1942 reopens this question in a way in which the rapporteur fully identifies himself with the view of the population, rather than through his supervision.
