It is interesting to note the attendance status of some Czech minority schools when it comes to the constant declarations by the Czech government that the Constitution is being respected and that no attempts are being made to bring German children to Czech schools. The Czech school was founded by narodní jednota Pošumavska in the year l935 in Auhezd, Íushkau district, which is attended by 1 7 children. Eight of them xarex are purely German. The Czech school in Chihana, Tuzhkau District visited six children, three of them are German. In Myslinka, k of l4 children are seven from purely German and four from mixed marriage, so that only three Czech-speaking children attend this Schle. In Lichtenstein, 27 children attend the State School, seven of which are German. In Pleschnitz, ten German children attend school. Of course, in the other Czech minority schools a part of the children of German nationality and German mother tongue are also. In Lukova, Manetin district, six of the eleven children are German, two Slovaks and three mixed-marriage children, so that the Czech school does not attend a single purely Czech child. In Netchetin, twenty-two children attend school, and sixteen of them are Germans. In Bernklau, four of the nine children are from German and four from mixed marriages. If you ask for the reason why German parents send their children to the Czech Schle, you have to find out again and again that the parents hire with the Czech rest of the property owners or otherwise are economically dependent on the Czechs and in case of a transfer of the child to the German school the loss of their job is foreseen. Significantly rare are already the cases in which gifts and support are spent on the capture of souls. In this respect, the enlightenment of our fellow people has already borne fruit. However, against brutal compulsion, in particular in language border areas, many are still defenceless today. It must be noted that, in the event of an emigration of Czech civil servants and employees, all the minority schools listed here are no longer frequented by Czech children.
