As you should know, I was appointed head of the accident insurance institution for Moravia in Brno from 15.12.1943 by mediation of your ministry. In this capacity, I am particularly interested in harmonizing the accident insurance of our workers with the law on accident insurance. I am now prepared to explain to you in the following the most urgent of the problems under discussion, the insurance of agriculture, and to request your intervention in its solution. With the letter of the Lord Reichsprotector in Bohemia and Moravia dated 23.4.194l, No.II 4 c - 662/41 to the Prime Minister of the Pro- tectorate Government, a radical reform of the previous accident insurance of agriculture was suggested, by which the unsatisfactory condition, that from the accident insurance obligation up to now only the agricultural machinery, i.e. hardly l/l0 of the entire agricultural activity, were covered, by the whole of the agriculture and forestry to be included in the insurance, and with the small farmers, moreover, the farmers and their family members themselves must be insured compulsory.
