It is therefore not only a duty, but also the party's will - as long as there are no other institutions - not to work against the workforce, but rather with all the force for trade unionization, e.g. with the people's associations (DAG, DHV, etc.) and to work for all the benefits in this sense. The party's support for the workers concerned must therefore be provided by the creation of appropriate dispensaries and by the provision of food, taking into account all of them equally. The Sudeten German Party will therefore, as far as it falls within its sphere of action, not only place itself fully behind the demands of the workforce, but also pull itself out of the wage struggles arising and thus manifest its clearly social basic attitude. On the employer's side, the party - as far as they are members of the movement - will exert all its influence, in fact, to decide for or against the people's community and to draw the necessary consequences from them. In this sense, the sharper disputes between employers and employees, which have already begun or are still coming, will probably constitute a probationary and burdensome test for the community of people, which, however, can be passed well on our part in the face of a real attitude. The assertion of our political opponents that the people's community is disintegrating during the first wage dispute will prove to be erroneous. If the social insight on the entrepreneur side and the intelligent, prudent attitude on the employee side is to be appropriate, the idea of the peoples' community must be strengthened from every wage dispute. The Marxist dogma of the insurmountable contradictions between employer and employee must be punished in every single dispute. On the one hand, our workers' squads are far too clever and too prudent to allow themselves to be carried away by political opponents in the enforcement of their legitimate demands for undecided actions and thus endanger the Sudeten-German possessions. On the other hand, there is also the possibility to influence the employer side accordingly. However, where there is a lack of social insight, it cannot be an entrepreneur's comrade, but an entrepreneur who, if he was a member of the party at all, has been the longest in such a case. It will be between him and us to draw a clear line of separation. Our movement will, at worst, become poorer for some unteachable and unsocial elements, but it will emerge from the test of probation, which is all the more firm and harsher to it as a result of the wage struggles; for the workforce will realize that the SudotenGerman party is not only faithful to it and its legitimate demands, but is turning its back on all social reactionaries and political hatredists.
