329 Copy 41. Gablonz/Neisse, 2nd April To the military registration office Pr a g III. Waldsteinpalais. To the letter of the military registration office of the 10.4.4l,betref- fend my address of 7.4.4l./Sachg.H.,Akz.Pers.Act/ I report obediently: l./ My request for non-recognition of a force of men did not concern the promotion during the service period, but the transfer as a lieutenant of the former, Czecho-Slovak army with a team of soldiers into the Wehrmacht. I started from the assumption that I was called not only for the purpose of my rehabilitation, but also for the fulfilment of my compulsory military service, and at the moment that I became a member of the Wehrmacht, all the rights and duties of the soldier apply to me. I would ask you to inform me if my contribution may be allowed. Note: The Wehrmacht S k a l i t z k y of the Wehrbezirkskommando Brno moved in about four weeks after me as a recruit to demsdleben's troop section and was taken over after about two months of training as a guard.Skalitzky was like me under lieutenant in the former Chekhozlovak army. I myself was employed after my training on 3rd December 40/ first with ground planning work and later as a concrete mixer in the construction of stable barracks. After a 4 weekly work vacation I came to the stable staff, where I was employed with stable work./Loading dung, cutting husks, binding straw and hay discharge brooms etc./On my request, whether not also my former position as reserve officer,as with Skalitzky could be taken into account, I received the information, that for the recognition of a batch only the military district command is responsible.I would have like any other soldier to go through the usual career of the soldier. For the truthful reproduction, the information received from the master guard I guarantee. 2./ The recruits group, which I was assigned for retraining, went into the field after the training./Visit: 3 December 1940./ In an official matter in mid-December 1940 to my chief of squadron,Mr. Rittmeister H i r s c h f e l d, was ordered, among other things, to inform me that my assignment in the field was impossible because I came from the Protectorate.
