8t Hans Heinrich Ho frichte r Prag VII., 24.IV.1944 Colonel d.R.a.D. Hermanngasse 36 near Kegel. To Mr. Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia SS-Obergruppenführer k.H. Fr a n k Prag. Dear Mr. State Minister ! As a totally bomb-damaged Berliner, who has stood on the front line of the present war for four years and was released from active military service on 1.3.44, I had turned to the Führer last autumn with an application cund for the assignment of a designated estate in West Prussia. At that time, the Pührer was able to comply with my request and, by writing his adjutant, Rear Admiral of Puttkamer, dated 11.12.43, let me know that he would not be able to help me in the desired form, but he was willing to assist me in setting up a new home, as far as this was possible. I note that the Pührer's negative response was based on the assumption that I would have asked for a 'dodation', which I had by no means intended. Although I have now been promised the help of the Führer, I turn to you, Minister of State, as I would like to avoid a further use of the Headquarter. My wife and I have had an emergency quarters in Prague with my wife's sister since December v.J. and my urgent request is to help me fulfil my wish, namely to ensure me an agricultural property in the protectorate in size of Soo-1ooo tomorrow for my family. It consists of parents and 5 children (aged 17-25 years), Gasymirega (Mafasinzbleffaffrog) u ma En/y 826-b√ 10 26.2. mIq,hnp
