This year's collection has been completed with complete success, as it exceeds the previous year' s collection both in terms of the number of donors and, in particular, the total amount of donations. Whereas the donations for the German Red Cross in previous years amount to 3l.002.218 K 20 h, on the occasion of today's collection of donations until 9 August a total of 43,512,627 K 75 h. Similar to the previous year, this year's collections in the true sense of the word were also a popular collection, since the largest part of the donations has again been received from the broadest strata.
