Prague, May 3, 1940. Note =4 V. 1940 On the occasion of my presentation to the Secretary of State on May 3rd, 1940, the State Secretary expressed the wish to equip his newly furnished office with some good paintings and a gobelin. The State Secretary referred here to a collection of paintings owned by the State in the Palais Lobkowitz. As I am going on vacation tomorrow, I asked Dr.Reinhold (group of classes and cults) to make efforts to get good pictures and, if possible, to get a gobelin: Jch also pointed out the Palais Lobkowitz, the castle administration and the museum bein Parlanent, where, to my knowledge, paintings are still piled up. 2.)
