STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 2589, sig. 109-12/237
English Translation
In contrast to the individualist_humanitarian police concept of democracies, as it prevailed during the system time in the Reich and also in the 20 years of Czechoslovakia, National Socialism sees as the task of the police the securing of the entire life order of the population and its action against any disturbance and destruction. Thus the German police became a true friend of the population in the last decade and the rubber stick disappeared as a police symbol of a sunken time. Also the autoncme police and gendarmerie in Bohemia and Moravia has the same way to go. In the faded Aera, seen by the audience as an enemy and hated by all, burdened with the forced role of a chauvinist shocking party in the struggle for nationalities of the last 20 years, she must now become a sincere friend and helper of the entire population of Bohemia and Moravia, adapting herself to the development in the Reich, and as such to the Germans and Czechs of this area in the same way as the respect it deserves by virtue of its great task. The insinuation of the autonomous executive under German general commanders therefore means a great proof of trust, in the expectation of an open and internally prepared growth into the powerful State Protection Corps of the Great German Empire, which stands under the direction of one of the closest followers of the leader, the Reichsführer-i. The reason for this lies primarily and as an urgent task of the autonomous executive, the need to become now an irreproachable representative of the realm's power of order. Furthermore, it must develop into a visible champion against all enemies of the Empire and for a new order in the Bohemian-Mauritian region, which represents an essential part of the empire, which is now preparing the way for a New and better Europe in the war. To march in a joyful step with the great German development is thus its highest honor!
