Office Z. Pers. I Prague, 2 March 1942 Mr. Oberreg.Rat Dr. G i e s d.d.D. Head of the Central Administration, Mr. Min. Rat Liebenov, obediently presented. This morning, the chief messenger Jennewein appeared and informed me of yesterday's incident regarding the flood in my office. I then examined the matter in a moment. The faucet, which the chief messenger found open on Sunday morning, is located in the washroom for the ladies * Officef Since the room is used exclusively by the ladies, I immediately asked the two ladies, Frl. Weber and Frl . Naumburg, he used the room last of them on Saturday. In the one I noticed that both ladies at l4h went to Tiseh- Len. They went to the table, namely Frl. Naumburg and l4,20h grl. Weber against l4,3oh again in the office to get her wardrobe. Frl, Weber was the last to enter the laundry room; she envmints herself exactly to have used only the mirror. The water, on it she can remember exactly, at the time not run. Since no one from the office has entered the washroom, I think it is impossible for one of the two ladies to take the water off. I have been in the office until 15.15 hours. I expressly declare that I have not entered the designated washroom. However, if one of the two ladies had forgotten to shut off the tap, I would have had to hear the water running. M.E., if it had run continuously, would have to step out of the washroom until then. Since the clean-up woman after cleaning the room, she should have seen the water flowing out of that room anyway. if it had run since the departure of the two ladies (Frl.Weber and Frl.Naümburg). I can only think that one of the clean-up women took water from the faucet for cleaning the offices without closing the faucets properly. Unfortunately it was not possible for me
