The background to this letter by District Leaders Knoop is illustrated by the following statements: On July 21, 1944, the Bannbeauftragter Alois Haupt was summoned by Chief Bannführer Kessler to the office of command of the Reichsjugendführung Prag. On July 22, 1944, a conversation was held between Keszler and Haupt, in which the head was opened that he would be finally drafted. Kessler noted that although the Ministry of State had a request for a provision, he had answered it so skilfully that the Minister of State could not decide otherwise than in his own interest. KesSler further told the head that a KLV teacher would arrive in Tabor on July 26th to take over the business. In the course of the further discussion, Kessler stated that he did not know who was behind the reserve request of the State Ministry, but he suspects that it was á-Obersturmbannführer Jacobi, behind whom the head would probably have cluttered. However, such interventions would not help anything either and would not change his decision. He wouldn't care who was behind it. Kessler literally said: 16855 "I would have to wait for the decision of the Minister of State, but will not do so, since the Minister for State has to respond positively to my answer." To the question Haupt's question, why KesSler believes that 44-Obersturm bannführer Jacobi is behind the Uk request, Keszler evasively replied: "I have seen horses vomit already." the office of command of the Reichsjugendführung does not deal with the in itself understandable planning of an infiltration of yet unproven HJ leaders, further statements by Kessler in the above mentioned conversation prove that he wants to take Haupt away from Tabor in all cases and, in the case of the Minister of State differently, to the office in Prague The Commission's proposal is not in line with the Council's proposals. On the question of whether there was anything against him or whether one was dissatisfied with him in terms of work, Kessler explained to him that neither of them was the case. After that, it is clear that it is only a matter of a local elimination head from his current function. In addition, Prague HJ leaders could be mentioned as witnesses who have heard similar statements from the mouth of local leader Knoop.
