INSTITUTE FOR RASSENBIOLOGY OF THE GERMAN KARLS-UNIVERSITAT PRAGII, THE 1O.III.44. Alberthof 6, I. DIRECTOR: PROF. DR. B. K. SCHULTZ Fernruf 37331, 37336 To the Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia SS Obergruppenführer Karl Hermann F a n k Pragi, Czernin Palais. 13. MRZ.1944 Very venerable Minister of state. The Institute of Racial Biology, newly founded at the German Charles University in Prague, is severely affected by the lack of suitable specialists in its impact on teaching and research. The planned racial examination of Bohemia and Moravia has not yet been brought beyond approaches. As I am expected to be transferred to a front team section in the near future, provision must be made for my representation. I have proposed to the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences as a representative of the lecturer Dr. Aemilian K l o i b e r, who has been habilitated with me, who is currently still drafted by the Wehrmacht. Lecturer Dr. K l o i b e r was deployed on the eastern front in the spring of last year, was severely wounded and fell ill with Wolhynic fever, which caused a quite heart damage. After all, he will never be suitable for front use any more. As an expert, he is very capable and gifted, familiar with the racial traditions in the Bohemian-Moravian region and is able to read Czech publications. On my proposal to the Wehrbezirkskommando Leipzig, the curator of the German scientific universities has submitted a UK application on l5.II.44, which has so far not been received. My request now goes to the effect that you, by an appropriate endorsement of the Wehrbezirkskommando Leipzig, express that you too consider the transfer of the lecturer Kl o i b e r to Prague urgently necessary. 7 fruty HeilH it l e r !
