Leopold Josef Bárta, V Proseči,30.VII.42. Proseè u Skutče. Telef.7. Mr State Secretary SS Gruppenführer 1. K. H. Frank , Bl. 3/m42 Praha IV. Abis Czernin Palais. You will be surprised by this letter from the unknown, but the same fate and the same price, good people close. Therefore, I believe that this letter will not remain unnoticed, because I do not want to be idle any longer, that I may calmly override what undermines the overall morale. If I were a good soldier, I would have reported myself to the army three years ago voluntarily, although I am Czech, but I can do more in the field of economics, which they have done for many years, but not from books only from the life of today. All of this I do for the love of our nation, ours in the future, and I owe to the President of the State for my life, and therefore I want to contribute my little things to a better tomorrow. I cannot write short what I have had to do over the last four years, for it would be a long lecture and only hard work has given me courage and possibilities to look into political life. I was on May 5th with Mr. Representing Mr.Risha Protector SS-Ober-gruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, who recommended me to Minister Moravec, to discuss all matters with him.I spoke with the Minister, but for the very limited time that I was allowed, I could not discuss all the issues. Therefore, I wrote to the Minister and he would have accepted me for the hearing, that I might have fulfilled the wish of the deceased. I have failed so far and I would have liked to have discussed the matter with you in advance, Mr State Secretary and if you consider it appropriate 1 with Mr State President, the matter of economic and political affairs. When I didn't get into the subversive element and I wanted Mr. State President to inform about this while I was trying to be selective, I was never allowed, for His surroundings would not have been afraid to know the truth, but very much me 11 -37/42./.
