31 - 13 - The equally valuable and surprising revelations of Mr Beneš will contribute more than all historical and political indications from the German side to an understanding of the need for a generous reorder in this region, located in the middle of the German national territory. No big-power can tolerate a neighbourhood in its flank, whose leadership is obsessed with such an attitude and wants to impose it on its people by all means. The protectorate statute is a generous planning. There are important possibilities for the Czech people, if only the extraordinary conditions of the war fall away, in a far view, whose advantages stand out against the only other possibility, namely a/(Czech-Slovak) Söwjet republic, especially now in the brightest light. It will eventually be a disgrace to Mr Beneš, who was only at the expense of his people. 7.
