English Translation
"A dealer" or "A merchant? An employment office had rejected the request of a self-employed person to change the trade name registered in his workbook "A trader" because this formulation expresses precisely the characteristic of professional self-employment, while the term "Buyer 66 also applies to non-self-employed professionals in the commercial sector. This view was endorsed by the General Manager for Labour, to whom the issue was finally referred, who rejected the contested term 'traders' as a sufficient identification mark for independent merchants. It was intended, according to his instructions, either 'individual dealers' or 'specialists' such as booksellers, drogists' etc. Also peddlers and ambulant dealers are not simply to be described as handlers, but as "ambulant merchants", "distributors", etc. At the same time it is made clear that in such cases the term "buyman" is not to be used.
