Referring to yesterday's telephone call from Dr. G i e s, Mr. Chief Government Councillor, I present two statements which show in detail the success of the work in the Protectorate and the support for unemployed people in the protectorate. In March 1940, the number of employees increased by 274 408 compared with March 1939, while the number in the labour force fell from 92859 to around 19000 over the same period.
