85 Confidential communications - not for publication ! - Concerning the establishment of a "Beutsch-Czech cultural society", Minister Dr.lavelka explained his Kpf had already prepared everything, so that the general meeting could have taken place already. However, the "Nár.Jednota" felt impaired as a state party, so I had to hand over the files. This had happened three weeks ago and no further progress had been made since then. However, this was not due to evil will, but to shortcomings in the organization. The Minister is not aware of an "Anti-Comintern League". He only knows the Anti-ComIntern Pact, which is not in question for Czechoslovakia, because it does not have the necessary army. Work was being done on the neutralization of the army, and the dissolution of the treaties with Soviet Russia and with the states of the Little Entente was being prepared.
