P Z D Presse-Informationsdienst vom 13. März 1939. Sunday evening a semi-official announcement of the DNB in Prague about Germany's statement on the Slovak events arrived from Berlin. It outlines Germany's attitude towards Slovakia in that Germany, with the most disconcerting and gravest concerns, pursues the internal political development in the ČsR, which can only be explained by the fact that the Prague government in turn has fallen back into the former methods of Benesh. As stated, this semi-official communication was still the subject of ministerial meetings during the night, but other bodies have stated that the Berlin communication remained at the reception point and was not even forwarded to the Prime Minister mmimemgmimhmatnwnmdenm. In any event, the press department responded to the accusation of returning to Benesch methods by providing a comment to the Czech Monday sheets, in which, pointing to the former Beneschfriendliness of the head of government Dr.Tiso, the accusation that he was returning to the Beneschmans was rejected. The early pages publish this official omission and write that 'only with the removal of Dr.Tisos the last remainder of the Benesh system in Slovakia has disappeared rope With this, the sheets and the official bodies confirm that the central government of Prague has, after all, placed Benesh-friendly elements in the highest administrative apparatus of the countries. The Prague authorities were very much informed yesterday about the views of London and Paris. While infermations arrived from London, according to which the pritic political points at the fate of Slovakia declare themselves disinterested, the Parisian voices consistently state that a very high game is currently being played in Slovakia and Germany has its hand in Slovakia in the game.
