nV copy Department of Finance Prague, 4 May 1944 VIIa - 1130 - 81 Note: The Minister of Finance of Prague (MOK Dr. Čakrt) has orally not communicated that the expert of the Protectorate, Dr. Jiru, can probably complete his report on the value of the operation of the Sublima in Vlkanova only in the first half of May 1984, because his trip to Slovakia has delayed. On 29 April 1944, I informed the head of the Slovak delegation, Dr. Hrnčár, of occasional other negotiations in Vienna and agreed the following with him: 1. The German Ministry of State will send the evaluation report drawn up by Dr. Jiru to the Slovak Ministry of Finance immediately after completion. The Ministry of Finance of Prussia will immediately forward the evaluation report to the German State Ministry, which has been led by experts from Slovakia. 2. Negotiations on the sale of the plant in Vlkanova will be planned to continue in Neushl after 12.6.1944. The Ministry of Finance of Prussia will make telegraphic proposals for the start of negotiations. 3. The determination of a supervisor who would have to comment on the dispensing guards of Slovakia and that protectorate is difficult because Slovakia could not recognise a supervisor over the opinion of the Head of the Audit Division of the Slovak National Bank. Instead, the German delegation will draw up another expert to whom the two reports will be made available beforehand and who will be able to comment on these matters during the negotiations.
