Division III Prague, March 20, 1945 No. III/2 - E 8015 / 45 iniste. 2 0 MRZ. 1945 To the head of the Ministry of Education in the Federal Republic of Germany Subject: Resumption of schooling after the Easter holidays As the conditions for the total closure of schools cease to apply with the start of warmer weather, schooling will be resumed after Easter as long as no schools or higher years will have to remain closed as a result of the closures due to the employment or the other-wide use of the German and Czech pupils. Thus the Volks= and Hauptschulen and the lower and middle classes of the higher schools as well as the trade schools are reopened. The teacher training institutions continue to run to a reduced extent, to almost the full extent the German home schools. Of course, the teaching is only possible to the extent that the space= and personnel relations allow it. The lack of space will often be solved by the purchase of spare rooms and the further consolidation of schools in the event of a shortening of the teaching. In the province, inns and owners of larger apartments have already offered their rooms for the resumption of the education. The personnel question will also be solved. The German teachers can gradually be pulled out of refugee care because the leadership of the refugee camps can be taken over by the returnees themselves. The Czech teachers, especially the teachers, are available anyway, as far as they are not at work. The same applies to their solution from refugee care, as far as they are used in it, as to the German teachers. The St.M.πD - 32 a/45
