A b t e i l u n g III Prague, April 10, 1945 No. III/2 - E 8015/45 a 11. APR. 1945 To the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Subject: Resumption of schooling after the Easter holidays Attachments: 2 I will return the proceedings after information has been received. As a result of the development in the last 3 weeks, the planned resumption of the teaching has of course still experienced limitations, but, as far as school= or spare rooms and teachers are available, it was possible to carry out essentially for the great joy of parenthood. The East Control Centre is mistaken if it believes that at present almost all school buildings in the Protectorate are occupied by the Wehrmacht or refugees. This is the case in individual areas, especially in certain cities. In other areas, however, the school buildings have so far been used only marginally. As I said in my communication of 20 March, the teaching is to a large extent carried out in spare rooms, which are often provided by parents or by the political authority. A solution of teachers from refugee care has only been made in individual cases in mutual agreement with the party and the head office East. For this, in large numbers of substitutes, partly from the KLv, some from refugee circles, among which are many teachers, have been placed. Helul 2m Yo 13. St.M.πD -92 c/45
