98 copy/Ha. Kurt Daluege i-Oberst-Groupnführer Berlin Nw 7, 22 May 1944. and General Oberst der Polizei. Unter den Linden 74, Lieber Pohl ! The Reehsführers-4 asked me to provide you with my documents on the Einsatzstab II for the examination of the case Major J u r k. The staff II was one of my closest staff and therefore managed the entire business in the same way as is usual for all members of my narrow staff, i.e. as with my adjutants, my secretary and others who belong to the narrow staff. Thus, all invoice documents have remained in the staff Jurk, without copies for me. I merely checked from case to case how much money I had constantly transferred to Major Jurk was used up and how much and more I had to instruct new ones. It was only necessary for me, because I was able to use the funds available to me for the Protectorate alone to check that the funds had been used correctly after the deployment staff II had been replaced, in order to have for me the certainty that the money had been spent correctly. I asked Major Jurk, who was supposed to give up his work in the Protectorate on 15.12.43 also according to my order, but probably had to work there for a longer time at the order of the Reichsführer-4, at the beginning of this year to finally present me with an abstention court about his work and the related funds. At that time, as far as I know, he asked the most important department of the Reich to review all the expenditures of the Empire, namely the Chamber of Accounts, to carry out a review of his expenditures. I then received from Major Jurk the final report of the Office of the Supreme Audit Chamber, which had carried out this review with all the documents in my home in Dahlem. This final report did not contain any allegations against Major Jürk and his staff in financial terms. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any more of this final report from the Supreme Audit Chamber, since Major Jurk and his staff were arrested in the meantime and these documents were confiscated.
