96 St.M. IV D - 142 c/44. Prague, 8 November 1944. 3 -8 XI 1044 1.R-PS: To Mr. Reichsminister and head of the Reich Chancellery Dr.Lammers, AUTTJE Voßstraße 6. Very venerable Mr. Imperial Minister! On 30.ll.d.Js. the day on which President Dr.Hácha was elected president is the sixth anniversary. In order to underline the fact that Dr. Hácha and his government are the only legal representatives of the Czech people, I think it would be appropriate for the leader to send a telegram to the 30.ll.an Hákha. For this telegram I propose the following text: "Mr. President! The return of the day on which you were elected President of the State in the year l938, prompts me to remember your best wishes for your health and the further happy existence of your work. Your presidency owes the Czech people, in the decisive years of the struggle for the new birth of Europe, to a substantial part of the securing of its existence." I would be grateful to you, very venerable Minister of the Reich, if you would tell me whether and in what way the telegram will come to the task. Heil Hitler! Her very devoted, e.g. Frank. 2.)
