14 - L − Prague, 10.1.1944. J./Sch. 1.) E n t w u r f for a letter from the Higher 44 and Police Leader to the leader of the Á section XXXIX. Betr.: District Chief V o r b a c h , Moravian-Budwitz. On a special occasion of work, I ask the 4-Oberscharführer Vorbach, District Chief in Moravian Budwitz, to transfer from General 4 to the security service of the Reichsführers ü. Vorbach is to carry out special tasks, which require a full use of his spare time. 2.) Note: Vorbach spoke to me on 8.1.1944 and asked me with urgent reasons for a regulation in the above-mentioned sense, that He had already been postponed several times by means of transport, and this contrary to all assurances by the 4-Standartenführer Sladek. He had the ambition to confess himself to the 4th on all official occasions by wearing uniforms, but was often ignored or welcomed at all because of his rank, e.g. by Wehrmacht circles. In the Reich School of the Sipo and the SD he passed the Führersprüfung with success months ago. For reasons of prestige, Sladek did not want to release him, in the background - without being able to prove this in concrete terms - without doubt the rejection of his person on the part of the general 4 because of his SD bond. He had lived through various incidents with the general 4, despite ongoing participation in the service, so that he could not go on like this. The case was discussed with standart leader Dr. Gies, who proposed the draft in the above sense and solution by the Obergruppenführer directly. 3.) III A z.K. 4.) I A 4 z.C.
