The subject of the hearing is that of the police station Gottlob B a r t í k, which was assigned to the Lower Neustadt Division, which states, on the basis of the service oath, that: October 1 940 shortly before 24 o'clock I was asked by an unknown German ethnicity - it was, as was later stated, the chief government councillor Dr. Gies - to secure another German citizen and to lead him to the police station Hibernerbahnhof. I notice that this man was detained in front of the station entrance by an unknown rich German officer. I took over the unknown man from this officer, grabbed him by the arm and was about to lead him to the police station. At that moment, police officer Josef Bř i n č i 1 joined me, with whom I was accompanied by the Chief Government Councillor Dr. At the police station it was then established that it was Adolf & O b e r l e i t , officials of the authority of the Reich Protector.
