A k t e n o t i z 17.07. 1944 On Thursday, July 13, 1944, at 5 p.m., a meeting took place at the Ministry of State in Prague between Minister of State Frank and Minister Bertscn on the one hand and Herm Pleiger, Meinberg and Delius on the other hand from Hermann-Göring-Werke. In this meeting, both factual and personal considerations were raised against the Director-General Kucninka on the part of Hermann Göring's works. Mr. General Director Kuchinka was also invited to this meeting by Mr. Pleiger, but could not attend. It was agreed that Mr. Kuchinka had to take a position on the serious proposals made by Hermann-Göring-Werke. Minister of State Prank then tried to leave Mr. K. in his office for a meeting on Friday, July 28, at 8 a.m. This meeting was not held either, as there was a disturbance in Mr K.'s telephone transmission, and two meetings were held, led by Mr Pleiger, which was attended by a visit to the Witkowitzer Eisenwerke. Adolr, Pleiger, Meinberg, Dr Delius, Dr Schmidt, General Director Kuchinka. The result of this examination was the statement by Mr Pleiger, which he gave in accordance with his authority from the company management contract, that he would either add the machines of the southern building which were not in operation in Witkowitz to other companies of the group, where they would be made serviceable to the armor, or, however, that, from the factories of the Witcowitz ironworks, the single civilian productions, including a large part of factory-owned deliveries, would implement workers for the armaments plant in Withkowitz. Mr K. stated that he had to deal with so many points that the implementation of such a measure would not be possible.
