English Translation

2) I would now like to ask you, on behalf of the entire student community of our university, to take over the 3rd lecture evening of our lecture series. I would like above all to achieve a closer link between our work and the work of the South-East European society and, above all, to create the basis for cooperation between Prague and Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. We are fully aware that Vienna will be the transshipment point to the south-east, and for this reason it is already called for the leadership within the South-East work. On the other hand, however, the Central German and Sudeten German export industry will continue to have strong ties to the southeast after the war. As students of the Saxon University of Economics, we feel very closely connected with our local and sudeten German industry and therefore feel it is a task and duty to continue to introduce our students as far as possible into the problems of South-East European economic life. I would be very grateful if you would not reject the request of our staff, and I am sure that this evening of lectures will give a great boost to both our work and cooperation with Prague. We would all be very interested if we were to hear something from our appointed mouth about the texts that exist between the Protectorate and the countries of South-East Europe. I am, of course, very willing to present to you personally the results of our work on the occasion of an official stay in Prague. Heil Hitler ! Students tipe: 4. Btard U (Uhlig) Student leader.
