18 I/5 (Youth) Prague, 1 December 1939 Z/Se. Dr. G i e s, Office of the Secretary of State, in the house. Dear Mr. Oberregierungsrat! The Reich Youth Leader has decided on my request and my proposal to give the State Secretary, SS group leader K.H. Frank, the golden medal of the Hitler Youth on the occasion of the visit to Prague. I would ask that this be communicated to the Secretary of State in an appropriate form, and it is perhaps important to mention the fact that, in the specific case, this is a deviation from the established protocol, in that so far the golden sign of honour of the HJ, except for Mr. Generalfeldmarschall Göring, has only been awarded to very few Reich Ministers or Gauleiter. In this context, it might be interesting to know that in the NSDAP there are 5 medals or honorary signs, namely the blood order, the Koburg badge 1922, the Nuremberg badge 1929, the golden badge of the party or the golden party badge and the golden medal of the Hitler Youth. I would like to inform the Secretary of State that the Reichsjugendführer also intends to give the Reich Protector the Golden Medal of Honor of the HJ. Heil Hitler! 1803 m (Zoglmann) OberbannführER. $t\x$
