19a 2 Frank as well as you. Of course, it would be an extraordinary pleasure if these invitations could be followed. On the occasion of my letter I would like to ask for your mediation in a personal matter concerning our Oberbergamt. With the decree of the Reich Ministry of the Interior, passing through with the Lord Reichs- statthalter in Saxony, -P 9-19 Re/4l- of 5 July 1941, the Regierungsinspektor R e n z., previously employed at the Oberbergamt, was seconded to the Reichsprotector in Bohemia and Moravia on the condition that he should be permanently taken over by the Protectorate Government. Unfortunately, this has not been done to this day; as far as I hear, because the superior of Renz should not have been satisfied with his achievements everywhere. On the other hand, I am informed that Renz must have worked in the meantime. I have met him here as a very willing and active employee who, despite his war injury, has conscientiously fulfilled his duties in 49354. To take over Renz again by the mountain administration has disappeared, because at that time in the legitimate assumption that Renz would be taken for permanently retired, other-wide personnel resolutions have been taken. Renz still has a post prescribed by the Oberbergamt in accordance with A4cl, so that it was not possible until now to give the applicant the promotion he had long been entitled to. I would therefore be particularly attached to you if you could work to ensure that Renz is now finally taken over by the Protectorate Government. This is also recommended because with the establishment of the Reichsberg authority further drastic personnel changes are to be expected. I thank you especially for your mediation in this matter. Heil Hitler and Glückauf !
