Fe:oi ptotektoc in Bohemia and Moravia. 0 Eing.: - 1. DEZ.1940 Mr. SS-Groupenführer Tgb. Nr.: State Secretary Karl Hermann Frank, Prague 30/ Dear State Secretary! Since the summer of 1939, I worked in the administration of Prince Schwarzenberg. My work did not have the form of an employee but of a special contractually regulated representative relationship. This was laid down in the letter of the General Plenipotentiary of Prince Blackenberg, Dr. Heinrich Prinz Schwarzenberg from 20.2.l940 to me. Under this agreement, I was entitled to a fee of 1l.240 RM per year, which was paid out at a quarter-year rate of 2.8l0 RM. According to the contract concluded, this agreement was unannounceable until 1.2.194l and could be terminated from this date on with a quarter of a year's notice period. Thus, the contract could not be terminated at the earliest by 1.5.l94l. A special provision is added to this general provision by Dr. Heinrich Prinz Schwarzenberg: "In the event of an termination of my general power, of course, the question of the continuation of this agreement with Adolph" - by which Prince Schwarzenberg is to be understood - "must be discussed." After confiscation of the property of Prince Schwarzberg, I assumed that my contractual relationship with the prince Schwarzenberg should be treated and resolved in accordance with the contractual provisions. The trustee of Prince Schwarzenberg's Ver mages in Krummau a.ll. now holds the position that the general power of Dr. Heinrich Prince Schwarzberg will be extinguished with the day of the confiscation and thus also my responsibility.
