TORERAA S.mayasnngSaq Cpodt in Böhminuad Mahcen. FERNRUF 990.18 Eing.: 13 Your sign T2 To your message from the Secretary of State, Subject: Mr Karl Hermann Fr a n k, Jcoon clho.tio Prague. Cmdo orlw Milde As a war advocate, I ask you to present my request to Mr. State Secretary.I had to shut down my painting and painting business. At that time, when I was called to arms on December 6th, 1994l, for the coal and iron trade unions of the M.-Ostrauer Ladsns Industrial District with my 26-member followers, I continuously carried out work of the greatest mass, mainly rust-proof paints of war-important objects/. Released from the Wehrmacht as a war enthusiast, I was able to reopen my company on June 1, 1943, but the greatest difficulties were encountered everywhere. When I now received large orders from the coal and iron industry I was given the opportunity to carry them out, as the necessary labor force remained. Officially, I was told that I had to adapt to today's situation and start very small. Mr. State Secretary: I took over the old-established German crafts company from my father and held it high in the most difficult times of the struggle for popularism. If it were the duty of the hour today to renounce the right of this craft to live because of more important actions, I would understand that too. However, as long as companies of my profession from the old kingdom with protectorate forces, as well as individual local companies due to the war economy with increased follow-up carry out the same work undisturbed, which I also have to carry out, I will not find myself without having to give up the prosperity of my company, all the more so since I only got into today's situation through my front assignment. After many petitions and urgings, individual workers were assigned to me until I came to the present level of 7 men. If before my war operations my following counted 26 men, I want to limit myself to the current situation and to be satisfied with l6 men. However, these are absolutely necessary for the execution of the orders assigned by the war industry. I ask Mr. Secretary of State to assist me in the reconstruction of my existence as a war-honoured war. Heil Hitler Aevy Pruthehr \A-146/43
