Design Secret Reichsssache. Letter to 4-Standartenführer Dr. B r a n d t Feldkommandotelle Betr.: Accommodation of Czech children. Introduction: Letter Tgb.Nr. 262/44 g v. 21.5.44. The meeting between Y-Obergruppenführor Frank and 4-Ststandarten Führer Sollmann took place on 2.7.1943 in Prague. i-Standartenführer Sollmann has explained that children up to six years of racial value are eligible for a takeover by the Lebensborn. In individual cases, he can also take over children of up to 12 years of age, however, he usually encounter difficulties, according to his experience, when he is admitted to a German family. The commander of the security police and the SD in Prague has instructed the state police headquarters in Prague and Brno to record the Czech children, whose parents were sentenced to stand-by and died in a concentration camp. It was planned to transfer the German-speaking children up to six years of age via the Lebensborn German families. For the older children, in whom the attempt to stay with a German family was no longer to be made, a closed submission outside the Protectorate was intended to make the attempt of a collective re-education. With regard to the further treatment of the non-Germanic child, a decision of the Reichsführer W was to be obtained. The recording of these children has now taken place, however, the further planned measures were not completed - - 2 -
