The passports introduced for traffic with the eastern territories incorporated into the Reich and with the occupied Polish territories during the military occupation are at present issued by the military transit offices. From 11 January 1940, the exhibition of transit tickets and transit documents is hereby transferred to the district police authorities. The accompanying "overview" shows, among other things, in which cases and under what conditions the county police authorities are called upon to issue transit and transit certificates.
