Office of the C'aa'sfecretary at the Reichssptotenuse in Bohm n and Mahven Translation. Enga 20. JAN. 1942 Dear Secretary of State! The war invalid Albert Albrecht in Prague XIII, Maltscher Str.6, asks for his apologies that he had sent his last letter in German translation to you in a draft. This did not happen on purpose, but I had too much ink in my pen when I signed the original letter and had to send the copy. I am convinced that you would have this Czech-written letter translated safely. I would like to write German, but do not control the German language so well and the translation offices are very expensive. Mr. Secretary of State, I would like to give you a pleasure and I decided to hold a small exhibition of my works and various ori- do ginale/ on Christmas holidays, and I want to convince you that there are also people among the Czechs who have understood the aspirations of the Germans. Confident that I will be able to continue my work and will not be repulsed, as in the twenty years of the Republic, I am happy to receive your hand in old age and wish you and your gentlemen health and all the best. Heil Hitler! Invalide Adalbert Albrecht Prag XIII, Maltschergasse 6. 19/1.42 t m
