Today Ministerial Councillor Augenthaler from the Reich Ministry of Economics visited me and instructed me in detail about the current Balkan trip of Mr. Reich Minister Funk. Augenthal is the responsible trade minister of the Reichswirtschaftsministerium. He left Berlin before I called Secretary of State Dr. Landfried in Jhrem. Augenthaler gave me the same reassuring assurances as Secretary of state Dr.Landfried. In any case, upon the return of the Reich Minister, contact with the Reichsrotector is immediately established. The visit of Augenthaler gave me the opportunity to discuss in detail all trade policy issues in South-East Europe and in particular to deepen the Slo-Wakian questions (the clearing point for Slovakia today is not less than 250 million RM).
