52 27 July 1940. To 27.10 Mr. Lawyer Dr. Höhnl, Karlovy Vary, Konrad-Henlein-Strasse, House "Java". Dear Mr. Höhner ! The Secretary of State is grateful for your letter of 8.5.1940 - sign Dr.H/K. and inform you that he has turned to Dr. Freisler in your matter. Mr. Secretary of State Freisler had replied that you had so far only applied for the transfer of a judge's office in Karlovy Vary. Since the appointment of a lawyer as a judge in the city, in which he had spent many years practicing his lawyer's duties, had encountered fundamental concerns, your request could not have been met. If, on the other hand, you were to apply for judges in other places, you would expect a well-wanted examination of your request. The Secretary of State wishes to be informed whether and for which judges you are interested in other locations. The corresponding requests would be sent to Mr. Staats-sekretär Freisler. I ask for your rescission as soon as possible. HeilHitl 18628 1X Superior Council. 2.) Wvi. on 27.8.194o to the Signatory.
